JURGENSBURG brand represents Organic food that is proudly produced in Latvia

The brand started developing in 2017 in Zaube parish, a place were most of the land throughout the years has been certified organic.

One autumn day watching the local farmers harvesting the copper colored buckwheat fields the idea was born : This land is so rich of nutrients and local people are incredibly skilled, they deeply care about their land and have mastered their craft throughout the years. It’s the perfect combination to create the product that we want to see in every household that cares about the food they eat.

We want to go back in time when the land was chemical free and everything that grew in land was organic

WHY ORGANIC?

Many of people looking at organic produce think: Is it really healthier? Is it worth the expense?

The term “organic” refers to the way agricultural products are grown and processed. Organic production respects natural systems and cycles. Biological and mechanical production processes and land-related production should be used to achieve sustainability, without having to recourse to genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
