Sometimes you just want to indulge, and the ultimate indulgent is chocolate, chocolate & chocolate. These fudgy homemade brownies will always be a hit, dark chocolate, cacao and Fava bean flour and we like adding walnuts, sea salt and coffee for the flavors to pop.

Ingredients
Jurgensburg Organic Fava Bean flour – 0.6 cups
Jurgensburg Organic Vanilla sugar – 3 tsp
Butter – 120 g
85% Dark Chocolate – 0.5 cups
Organic eggs – 3
Unrefined cane sugar – 150g
Sea salt – 0.5 tsp
Cocoa Powder – 4 tbsp
Walnuts (small chunks) – 0.5 cups
Instant coffee powder – 1.5 tsp
Chocolate Chips – 0.5 cups
And some more Jurgensburg Organic Vanilla icing sugar for drizzling
Preparation
- Pre-heat oven to 175 C.
- Put greaseproof paper in baking tray (ideally 18x18cm).
- Make cubes of butter and dark chocolate and microwave for ~ 45 sec in a bowl until the chocolate starts melting.
- Whisk the chocolate and butter together till smooth, set aside to cool.
- Beat together eggs and sugar till creamy.
- Add the chocolate mixture, vanilla sugar, whisk until creamy.
- Sift in Fava Bean flour, sea salt, cocoa powder, and coffee powder and fold into the wet mixture.
- Add the chocolate chips and walnuts in mixture.
- Pour the brownie batter into the greased tin and bake for 35-40 min.
- Let the brownies cool down before slicing.
- Sprinkle some Vanilla icing sugar on top and they are ready to be served.
